Mr. Brown Goes To Washington

Now that is CHANGE!

A REPUBLICAN wins a Senate seat in Massachusetts. The American people have spoken.

Conservatism is back and it's pulling America back from the grips of a government who has repeatedly shown that it does not care about its electorate.

Scott Brown...here comes the revolution!

  1. I don't understand the revolution comment. The Republicans governed for 8 years before a Democrat was elected and didn't pass any legislation that came anywhere near "revolutionary." I can't understand how returning the party to power would change anything all that much. The Democrats have had the WH and Congress for a year and weren't able to do anything remotely revolutionary either though.

Staying mired in two foreign wars that Americans are frustrated with, looking out for insurance companies over struggling American families, refusing to take on a banking industry that has proven itself massively irresponsible and now survives on the government dime, and making sure you're wrapped up in the tentacles of giant interest groups so you can suckle enough money to insure Congress' 95% reelection rate isn't all that revolutionary, regardless of which party stands for it.

  2. Barack Obama's presidency has proven one thing: Leftist Liberalism is a failed ideology and a disastrous political endeavor.

Scott Brown's win in MA was, in no other words, revolutionary in terms of the political forecast. President Obama won Massachusetts by 26 percentage points in 2008. Dems have a 3-to-1 registration advantage in MA. They hold every statewide office & all 10 congressional seats. They've held this Senate seat for 57 years.

The Republican/Independent party is reshaping...mostly due to a growing grass root effort of Americans that are tired of Big government that has its hands in too many pockets. Dwelling on the past 8 years (seems like a year long theme) is moot. George Bush was far from conservative.

You bring up valid concerns; however, the party in power could give a rats a$$ about anything that has to do with the struggling American.

"If an American is to amount to anything he must rely upon himself, and not upon the State; he must take pride in his own work, instead of sitting idle to envy the luck of others. He must face life with resolute courage, win victory if he can, and accept defeat if he must, without seeking to place on his fellow man a responsibility which is not theirs." - Theodore Roosevelt
