Rewriting History???

2 comments:

  1. In your "About Me" section, I found some grammatical errors.

#1 the 1st sentence you use "myself" which is a reflexive pronoun. A reflexive pronoun is always the object of a sentence; it can never be the subject. Therefore, your sentence should read, " If you're like ME, you value your right to "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness."

#2 The next to the last sentence ends in a preposition. There is an old joke where the Texan (and I am a Texan so I can tell this joke) goes to NY City. He gets lost and asks a beautiful, cultured, obviously wealthy lady, "Can you tell me where the Empire State Building is at?" She replies, "We in NY City DO NOT end our sentences in prepositions!. He replied, "I'm so sorry mam, can you tell me where the Empire State Building is at, B*$%#."

You sentence should read, "Stand with other Conservatives and rise up for that in which you believe."
or , "Stand with other Conservatives and rise up for your beliefs."

You grammar mistakes take away from your awesome content.

  2. In your "Comment", I found some grammatical errors.

#1 In your first "correction" statement, you do not capitalize the first word of the sentence.

#2 The word "mam" should have been used in its correct form; Ma'am.

#3 Your second to last sentence begins with the word "You." The appropriate word choice would have been "Your."

#4 Your last sentence, again, begins with the word "You." Once again, the appropriate word choice would have been "Your."

Your grammar "corrections," um...mistakes, take away from your awesome comment.

    Thank you.

"If an American is to amount to anything he must rely upon himself, and not upon the State; he must take pride in his own work, instead of sitting idle to envy the luck of others. He must face life with resolute courage, win victory if he can, and accept defeat if he must, without seeking to place on his fellow man a responsibility which is not theirs." - Theodore Roosevelt
